Wishes is located in Avon, Colorado, a little town nestled between the popular ski resorts of Vail and Beaver Creek. Originally a toy store, Wishes has expanded to carrying toys, gifts, & clothing for babies to teens as well as some gifts for mom.

Marti Hurd, owner, opened Wishes the Toy Store in 1995 in a tiny, little space in Avon, Colorado. The name was chosen by a class of preschoolers who are now in their twenties! Ten years later, that 1000 square feet was busting at the seams with toys. Wishes moved around the corner to a space of 3600 square feet. With all the new space, there was room to expand and expand it did. Clothing and gifts for mom were introduced to the mix.
